Spring events on the Mornington Peninsula
With the weather warming up and the sun being up later and later now if the perfect time to enjoy some wonderful events in the local area. I have picked just a few of my favourites that I think you’d like too.
Mount Eliza Farmer’s Market
Pick up the freshest local food and produce and catch up with your friends in the Mount Eliza Village.
The market is on the fourth Sunday of each month at Mount Eliza Village.
The name doesn’t really give away what the Penisula Palooza is all about. It’s a chance for you to get up close and personal with artisan producers showcasing the best of their products to celebrate the production of independent craft liquor on the Mornington Peninsula.
Sample over 200 beers, ciders and spirits alongside live entertainment and a large variety of food trucks.
Peninsula Palooza is on Saturday, October 5 2019, at Mornington Racecourse.
Mornington Racecourse Market
A makers market where everything is handmade, homemade or homegrown. A great place to meet up with your friends, relax on the lawn, take in some live music and sample the street food vendors.
The market is on the second Sunday of each month at Mornington Racecourse.
Walks and fun runs
There are a number of walks and fun runs throughout the warmer months on the Peninsula.
With a range of choices from location, supporting causes and distance, there is sure to be an event that suits your needs.
Check the Mornington Shire website for information about these events.
Pensinsula VineHop Festival
This multi-venue event celebrates craft beer, cool-climate wines and ciders all produced on the Mornington Peninsula. With ten venues to choose from, all hosting live music or DJs, food trucks and bars offering a selection of beer, wine and cider tastings.
Peninsula VineHop Festival is on the weekend of November 16-17 2019.
If you see me out and about at any of these events, come and say hello.
